Welcome!

Thank you for visiting our website.  Saint Toribio Romo Catholic Church is a mission of Saint Joseph serving Chatsworth and all of Murray County.  We are a very diverse parish united in our Catholic faith and love and devotion to Jesus Christ.  We are a community that has been growing rapidly and we desire to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with all who come through our doors.  Our patron saint, Saint Toribio Romo Gonzalez, was a young Catholic priest in the 1920s in Mexico during a time in which the practice of our faith was illegal.  His love and devotion to our Lord spurred him to continue exercising his priestly ministry even under the threat of execution. He faithfully served the people of Tequila, Jalisco saying mass in a tequila distillery.  He was martyred on 25 February 1928.  His feast is May 21st along with other martyrs of the Mexican Cristero War.  The battle cry of the Cristeros was Viva Cristo Rey! (Long live Christ the King!) and so too, all that we do in our community reflects that cry, May Jesus Christ our King live and Reign forever in our hearts.

Please take a moment to explore our website for all information about our church and the many ways to get involved in serving our King, Jesus Christ.
